During his 14-year tenure as editor of the Sunday Times, Sir Harold Evans was responsible for its crusading style of investigative reporting that brought many stories and scandals which were officially denied or ignored to public attention.

0 ABC News Journalist Bob Woodruff at the 92nd Street YBob Woodruff has covered major stories for ABC News since 1996 and was named co-anchor of World News Tonight in December 2005. In January 2006, while reporting in Iraq, he was seriously injured by a roadside bomb. Last October, he sat down with James F. Hoge of Foreign Affairs magazine at NYC’s 92nd Street Y to discuss the role of the war correspondent and reflect on America’s role in the world. Woodruff and his wife, Lee co-wrote a memoir, In an Instant (just released in paperback), chronicling his recovery and how their family persevered. In this video clip, he talks about the painful process.
